Welcome to Coquina Elementary School, an A school.
At Coquina, we believe that every student can learn, grow, and succeed. Our goal is to ensure that each child makes progress in their learning every day. We understand that students do their best when they feel supported—not only by their teachers, but also by their classmates, families, and the entire school community.
That’s why we place a strong focus on working together. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. In our classrooms, students often work in teams, share ideas, and learn from one another. Teachers collaborate closely to plan meaningful lessons and find the best ways to support every learner. Families are essential partners in this work. We believe strong communication between home and school plays a vital role in helping students thrive.
We also teach our students the importance of teamwork, problem-solving, and respectful listening. These life skills help them succeed not only in school, but throughout their lives. When students work together, they build confidence, expand their perspectives, and discover the joy of shared learning.
